After 7 fun years, our current renter / friend sadly has to move out due to life changes. We’re looking for the next cool chapter in the flat and would like someone looking for long or semi long term housing, not a student or foreign service industry person on “working vacation” who is going to move out in 6 to 11 months.

We’re on Amager 2300, right across the street from Amagerbio and next to the Blue Raven. 30 second walk to the 5A / 250S bus stop at Øresundsvej & Amagerbrogade. 8 min. walk to either Amagerbro Metro or Lergravsparken Metro or 3 min. by bus to Amagerbro Metro. 15 minutes from airport! 5 supermarkets within a 30 second to 3 minute walk and plenty of cool new restaurants, bars and late night takeaways.

The flat is clean and cozy! We have our own clothes washer & dryer in the spacious bathroom with a hot shower with great water pressure. We have a dishwasher in the kitchen.

Your room is spacious and clean. It will come UNFURNISHED, but the rest of the apartment IS furnished, including tons of kitchenware, plates, silverware, cooking ware etc. Loads of gourmet cooking done here, so we hope you like to eat well and a super bonus if you are also gifted in the culinary arts yourself!

Your room has both inline hard wired internet & perfect full wireless connection and the wifi is EMF protected with Photonic shields.

I have the master bedroom and my 20 year old son alternates living a week here, with the living room / lounge as his bedroom and then a week at his mom’s, when you will have all access to the living room lounge on those weeks. The lounge has TV & Xbox HDMI where internet movie streams can also be hooked up. We also have a parlor style dartboard!

(We are getting rid of that clunky permanent couch/bed in the pictures and getting the Ikea folding couch bed I put in the pictures, so when Seb is at his mom’s, you can fold it back into a new couch and have guests around without that obnoxious bed folded out LOL) and of course we don’t mind once in a while if you have a friend who wants to come visit or crash here for a few days to sleep in the lounge, so long as it’s the week when he’s at his mom’s.

On the weeks he is here, you can still go in and out of there in the days when he is working, but you have main access to your room and always the kitchen and cozy Americana diner-style breakfast / dinner hutch to eat at or hang out at if you need a change of scenery. We love to cook and chat in there together, it’s very cozy, your friends will love it. Has a great vibe!

We want someone cool and social, not a scared quiet type who hides in their room. English is our house language, so you should be proficient. My son is half American so fluent in both Danish and English an I speak basic Danish but we don’t in the house normally, so foreigners are welcome! If you are the hermit type who wants to hide away, so long as your social, that may work..we’ll meet and see.

We are both SMOKERS, so we do smoke in the lounge, my bedroom and in the kitchen, only under the kitchen stove fan..but burn organic oils and keep it clean so it doesn’t smell like a bodega. The current tenant does not smoke, so if you are a smoker, this is the dream flat for you and if you aren’t a smoker but don’t mind smokers, your room is smoke free.

The rent is only 6.700 kr per month – all in! Internet, water, heat, washer, dryer included. I’m only asking for two months deposit 13.400 kr) plus first months rent to move in. I know it’s ridiculous out there with landlords asking for 6 months deposit and 9k for a room only.

The DEPOSIT is a MUST to sign the contract...the flat will go to the one we like most and vice versa but also the FIRST ONE who can also secure that and show they are not a desperate financial mess and risk, and the first month’s rent can be paid on April 1st as you move in, if you need a few months to save up.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if you are the one this flat is waiting for? I am a working musician and working all nights except Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so I will be showing the flat in the daytimes on all days. We are also going to Arizona and Puerto Vallarta already from Feb 8-23rd, so we’re hoping to find someone ASAP and get it cemented!
